Joey Blumberg

ORISE Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Natural Resource Economics

A little about me!

I earned my Ph.D. in Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics at Colorado State University, and both a bachelor's and master's degree in Applied Economics at the University of Arizona. Between undergraduate and graduate school, I worked in Tucson, AZ and Santa Fe, NM as an inventory manager and product photographer for a Native American and Southwestern art gallery. I like to spend most of my free time outdoors. I enjoy skiing, backpacking, and rock climbing when the season calls for it. I am also an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction. The "Foundation" series by Isaac Asimov is my all time favorite fiction series.
